A Rainy Day in Liverpool

Can someone bring the sun back please?

My friends and I recently lunched in Liverpool. As usual the sun made a brief appearance before the heavens opened.
Here’s my best friends Hannah & Ami attempting to cross the busiest road in the city under one umbrella. The road is also right by the river so it was very windy. Ami decided to walk like a penguin in her efforts to stay undercover whilst Hannah kept a firm grip of the umbrella. Ha!

Before leaving Liverpool the sun made another brief appearance so we managed to take a few selfies before heading home. We love a good selfie!

They’re crazy, and I love them for it. We’ve been friends for a very long time and I know that we’ll be friends for a lot longer. We lunched with another of our best friends, Natasha. But she had to dash which is why she’s not on our snaps. I’ve known Natasha since I was around 4 years old. We’ll be friends till we forget, then we’ll be new friends!
I have this cushion, it sits on a decorative chair in my hallway. It reads “Friends are the family we find along the way”. That’s totally true for me and my friends, we are like family and no matter how far we are from each other we’ll always remain close.
You can see a review of our lunch experience in Liverpool here.
Thanks for reading.

  • Without a doubt friends are certainly family! It’s great to be surrounded with people you love and can be yourself with! You all look so happy 🙂

    • Where would we be without friends hey?! Thanks for stopping by Kirsty!

  • Haha, typical UK weather. Looks like you all had a lovely day out though!
