Travel Smart

Travelling can be stressful. What to pack, how much money to take, what sights to see – it can all get a little overwhelming at times. Well, I’m here to help. Follow these useful tips so you can travel smart:

Do your Weather Research

So you’ve booked your all singing, all dancing trip abroad in the sun. Well, at least you think you did. Did you check the average weather for when you’re due to go? I can’t stress the importance of this enough. Don’t presume it’s going to be sunny because that’s what you have seen on Instagram. Almost everywhere has a rainy season.

Budget by the Day

If like me you don’t have a money tree in your garden I find setting a daily budget for spending money is really useful. If you’re not all inclusive, do some research into the average meal cost for your destination. This will help you work out what to budget each day and manage your money more efficiently.

Pre-booking is King

Don’t wait until you arrive at your destination to book excursions or tours. You’ll pay way more than if you did a little research and booked in advance of your trip. I highly recommend Viator for this. It’s a great platform for booking anything from shows to segways with big discounts and if you sign-up to their newsletter you get 10% off.

Pack Smart, Pack Stylish

Finding the right suitcase or carry on bag can be stressful. Especially finding a stylish one. Ahead of my upcoming trip to Spain I stumbled across Trendhim. They have some really awesome stuff, from bags to jewelry. Their sunglasses and bag range particularly caught my attention, there’s some really nice items that are practical and stylish, something you don’t often find. They also offer free shipping which is always a bonus!

So there you have it, some tips to travel smart. Do you have any advice or travel coming up? Let me know!
